What Low Water Pressure Service Covers
Last updated: October 2026
Washington Plumbing Pros assesses reported low water pressure and, with your approval, performs agreed diagnostic and repair work on accessible plumbing components. Work may include checking pressure, inspecting a regulator or shutoff valve, clearing an aerator, or repairing a water line issue when included in the written estimate. We will explain when a suspected cause falls outside the approved work or needs a separate agreement, such as a concealed leak, extensive repiping, utility-side problem, or work requiring additional access.
Work is performed under applicable requirements, including the 2021 Washington State Plumbing Code, as amended, and Washington State plumber certification rules under RCW 18.106. Seattle permits, when required, are handled through Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections.
Applicable backflow and cross-connection rules include WAC 246-290-490 and Seattle Municipal Code Chapter 21.10. Lead-free materials are used where required by Safe Drinking Water Act Section 1417.
Requirements may involve the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, Washington State Department of Health, Seattle Public Utilities, or the EPA.
Setting, Changing, or Cancelling a Visit
Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method we confirm with you. We will communicate the planned visit window and any access information needed for the agreed inspection or repair. Please make sure an adult can provide access to the work area and tell us about relevant conditions, such as recent plumbing changes or a shutoff location, before the visit when possible.
If you need to cancel or change an appointment, contact us as soon as you can using the details in these terms. We will confirm whether the requested change can be accommodated.
A visit may need to be rescheduled if access is unavailable, conditions are unsafe, or the reported issue differs substantially from what was arranged. If inspection reveals additional work, we will explain the proposed change and obtain your approval before proceeding.
A scope change means adding or altering work beyond the original agreement. We will not treat silence as approval.
Any applicable cancellation charge or other appointment condition will be disclosed before you agree to it.
Written Estimates and Payment Terms
Before repair work begins, Washington Plumbing Pros will explain the proposed work and provide an estimate or other written price information for your review. An estimate is based on the conditions known at the time; concealed damage, inaccessible piping, or a different cause of low pressure may affect the work required.
If that happens, we will describe the added work and its cost and request your approval before making the change. You may decline additional work, though the original issue may remain unresolved.
Payment is due according to the terms stated in the estimate, invoice, or other agreement you accept. Ask us to clarify any payment timing or included work before authorizing service.
We do not promise a fixed price for work that has not been inspected or defined, and no financing offer is implied by these terms. Applicable taxes or disclosed charges will be shown in the service documents.
Keep a copy of the approved estimate and invoice for your records. These terms do not remove any rights that cannot legally be waived.
Workmanship Coverage Is Set Out in Writing
Washington Plumbing Pros stands behind the workmanship only to the extent described in the written warranty, estimate, or other service document provided for your specific job. These terms do not establish a standard warranty period or promise coverage that is not stated in that document.
Before approving work, review the paperwork for the duration, covered repair, and steps for requesting service if a concern arises. Contact us promptly and provide the invoice or job details so we can assess the issue.
Coverage may not apply to unrelated plumbing problems, pre-existing conditions, normal wear, later work by others, misuse, or damage from events outside our control, where permitted by law and as stated in the applicable written warranty. A workmanship warranty is not a guarantee that water pressure will remain unchanged if the cause lies with a municipal supply, well, fixture, or another system outside the repair.
Any manufacturer warranty on parts is governed by the manufacturer’s terms. Nothing here limits consumer protections that apply under Washington law.
Responsibility for Work and Existing Conditions
To the extent permitted by law, Washington Plumbing Pros’ responsibility for a claim arising from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This limit does not apply where it would unlawfully restrict liability, including rights that cannot be waived.
We are not responsible for damage or service problems caused by pre-existing defects, concealed conditions, municipal supply changes, or work performed by others, except where applicable law provides otherwise. Please tell us about known hazards or prior repairs before work begins.
Our work remains subject to applicable requirements, including the 2021 Washington State Plumbing Code, as amended, and Washington plumber certification under RCW 18.106. Seattle permits are obtained through Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections when required.
Backflow and cross-connection rules may include WAC 246-290-490 and Seattle Municipal Code Chapter 21.10. Lead-free plumbing materials must meet Safe Drinking Water Act Section 1417 requirements where applicable. These terms do not excuse compliance with governing codes or agency requirements.
